Camelot Shepherds has joined with Vrandenburgh K-9, to better serve you in offering fully trained personal protection dogs.   We are located in South East Tennessee and have dogs in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi, Texas, North and South Carolina, Michigan and even Pennsylvania to name a few. We live in a world where we can no longer take our personal safety for granted.  According to the FBI crime statistics for 2007, There were an estimated 1,408,337 violent crimes reported nationwide in 2007.  A murder occurs every 31 minutes, a violent rape occurs every 5.8 minutes, a burglary every 14.5seconds, an aggravated assault every 36.8 seconds.  How save do you feel?

A Personal Protection Dog is trained to protect you and your family while still being an affectionate, well socialized pet. Having a personal protection dog gives you peace of mind that you and your property will remain free from intrusion. A well-trained protection dog is the best deterrent against intruders available today.

According to the FBI, a burglary occurs once every 11 seconds in the United States. Two out of three burglaries are residential, and 60 percent of those occur in broad daylight. In some cases personal injury takes place.

The presence of a protection dog will minimize your chances of unlawful entry into your home or business. A personal protection dog will make it nearly impossible for the bad guy to enter your premises. After a break in you feel violated and even fearful about returning to your home. These feelings last many days or even months. The trauma of a break in is real. This does not have to be the case. Let us help.

  • Somewhere in America, a woman is sexually assaulted every 2 minutes, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Stranger abduction is when there is no relationship between the offender and victim. There are approximately 200-300 reports of stranger abduction per year. These mostly occur in public places. Offenders are usually male, and weapons are rarely used. Victims are more often females with a wide range of age, but most are between 8 and 15. Recently the trend is home abduction including the kidnapping of children form their front yards and even their own bedrooms. This is epidemic in our society.

  • 80% of abductions by strangers is from the first contact, and most frequently the abduction takes place within 1/4 mile from the victim's home.
  • In 74% of non-family abductions the victims are female.
  • Each year 3,600 to 4,200 children are abducted by someone outside the family.
  • 50% of abduction victims are 12 years of age or older, 66% are female.
